What is Reiki?

Rei means universal, divine, limitless, omniscient.

Ki is energy, specifically the energy of your life force.

Reiki is a form of energy healing that comes from a universal source. It never runs out, and it has a wisdom of its own, flowing to where it needs to in order to heal.

A Reiki practitioner is a conduit for this energy, never using their own personal energy.

Reiki practitioners do not physically manipulate the body like a massage therapist or chiropractor.

Reiki is always beneficial, and works with the vibrational field around a person's physical body.

Reiki works as the energy channeled through the practitioner (typically through their hands) flows to where the client needs it most.

Reiki works to balance the chakras, or energy centers, of the body. Energy also flows to the internal organs, endocrine system, and brain.

With Reiki we treat the mind, emotions, and spirit, which will improve the health of our physical bodies.
